  look my life is not bad but sometimes i just think about all the normal things i missed out on.

  and no i'm not talking about christmas and birthday parties.

  i'm talking about your first kiss happening in your twenties instead of your teens.

  I can't completely agree. I went back to college at 43 and graduated at 47. No, I cannot be 29 - 40 again, but I could be a free 40 - dead person. I am loving it, I am not trying to relive my youth but its great each day I get to remain living carbon. Did try some MJ and a little sex, don't crave it these senior days and that's fine. Fortunately I was inactive from 16 to 29 and sowed my wild oats. Its been a long strange trip.

  the u.s. supreme court has overturned a north carolina law prohibiting registered sex offenders from using facebook or other social networking sites that minors can join.. the challenge was brought by lester gerard parkingham jr., a registered sex offender in north carolina, who faced additional charges after durham police found a facebook page he created under an assumed name.. the case raised questions about whether such laws prohibit sex offenders from participating in web-based forums, which have become virtual town squares, as they re-enter society.. “this case is one of the first this court has taken to address the relationship between the first amendment and the modern internet,” justice anthony kennedy wrote in the majority opinion.

  Facebook has a policy that sex offenders are not allowed to use their services. It is a private concern and therefore not compelled by law to include sex offenders. The whole thing is pretty stupid. They are restricted by the site owner and are removed if found out. As far as the other restrictions imposed by the state, that's another matter. To say its illegal to restrict them from Facebook is a moot point.

  White clean shaven man runs over muslims

  so in england they report a "white clean-shaven man" mowed down worshippers at a mosque.

  why do they never make such detailed descriptions when muslims do the same?.

  i hope this event isn't a bad turning point.

  The denial of 1975 when and how did they go about it.

  i was pretty young in 1975, all i remember was a few complaining at the hall after and those at the door that razed us over it.

  does anyone remember how they went about denying it and when this started.

  i do remember a scripture in psalms about people being mighty and living longer so this was used.

  The BS about how long Adam lived alone without Eve was the fail safe for the true believers. We heard that for a long time after October 75. I remember one old timer saying in 1986 that it "had been fifteen years that Adam was alone, no wonder Jehovah created a helper for him". My god these people are like abused wives, will hang onto any straw rather than give up their abusive mate. Makes no sense.

  let's here some stories of good samaritan conduct , i asked an elder so called friend once could my son sleep on garage floor for a couple of days due to work , the answer was no due to son not believing..

  Chook, I assume it was the elder's garage. I hate to say it but I would have been leery of even another believer sleeping in my garage if I didn't know him. A stranger is a stranger. But, if it were a group of fellow witnesses on a KH build or something, then that would have had some structure and recourse if something negative happened. Its not always as simple as it sounds.

  One brother I know of saw a truck stuck on the side of the road. It was a man and his family heading to Arkansas. (We are in California). The man needed money to get his family there so he gave the brother the pink slip to the truck as collateral and the brother used his credit card to buy bus tickets for the family. (around $500.00) Not only did the brother NOT hear from them again, the engine was blown on the truck and he was stuck with it. Doing nice things for others? Not always wise.

  Baby update and quick hello.

  i wanted to take a moment to give a quick baby update.

  my last post mentioned that we lost twin b at 17 weeks but twin a is doing well so far.

  we are 25 weeks tomorrow and a week past the point of viability so we are starting to get really exited for this new adventure in our lives.
